This one is a little misleading because it wasn't taken on 5 November - instead it was taken on the last night of the Edinburgh fringe. Each year there is a big fireworks display at the castle with an orchestra playing accompanying music in the bands...

This form of old school advertising can't quite match the massive screens on Times Square. Although, there's something quite classy about these adverts, which can't be said about the electronic versions.
